Oops. Was thinking Bauer was w/ Baltimore. That’s Bundy. We’ll have two wait a year or two for the Hultzen/Bauer matchup.

Bummer. Bauer was going to pitch against Hultzen today. It was supposed to be the number 2 vs 3 from last years draft. Maybe we’ll get to see it later this year w/ both in the majors.

Taillon is still growing into that massive frame so he will definitely take some time in the minors, but they knew that when they drafted him. Cole will probably progress faster through the ranks than Taillon but I wouldn’t worry about either.

Frustrating to see this as a Pirates fan, as Taillon and Cole and still tearing up High A. They’ll probably go to AA in June, but the Pirates are being slow with them, you don’t want to be seeing control issues already from your top picks.

Still one level too low, Patrick Corbin had a nice start but the time to move Bauer into the rotation can start any time now.
