Both of these guys were respectable Twins. I’d like to see O-Hud come back to Minnesota too, but he’s no upgrade with Carroll, Casilla, and Dozier present. Oh, then again they have that train wreck of a contract with Nishioka down in the minors that they’d hope to revive if they needed a .225 hitter.

Hudson has “Sabean” written all over him. I really hope the Giants don’t pick him up. But we all know that washed up infielders are like catnip for Sabean and Bochy.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they told Bartlett to either go on the DL or get released since I really thought he was going to go before Hudson. Hudson hasn’t been great this year, but compare his stats to Bartlett’s and he looks so much better.

Hudson had a very good career for a player who was drafted the the 43rd round of the 1997 draft.

According to the trivia dealy on SNY today, Hudson’s one of three active players who’s homered against all 30 MLB teams. Though depending on when they asked that question, he may not have been “active” at the time I guess.
