It’s like the Baseball Gods have doomed this season no matter what. Ellsbury looks like he’s getting it going, ruins his shoulder that very game. Ross starts stepping up in his absence, now he’s gone.

What’s next? Gonzalez has a three-HR game tonight and then vanishes off the face of the Earth?

Jesus christ, start wrapping these guys in bubble wrap. It’s nice to see the sox have been winning lately with contributions from people like Nava, Byrd and Middlebrooks, but I’d like it if no more regulars went down with serious injuries. I mean come on, I’d like for once a Sox player to go down with like a muscle pull instead of a dislocated shoulder or broken foot. God.

I guess that injuries are a better excuse than beer and chicken wings; however, the Red Sox have been playing well the last few weeks even with the injuries.
