No, they promoted Josh Bell because he has talent, they cut Random because he does not.

Also, Ransom was 1 for his last 15…he was not exactly hot (i.e. lucky) anymore.

Well now I feel like a dummy. Not only did he spend more time in the SF system, but the time he spent at Scranton Wilkes Barre was post affiliation switch from Phillies to Yankees. I humbly rescind my previous comment.
