Lighten up bud. Orioles baseball has never been about the big picture since Angelos came around. It's all about living in the moment, because that's pretty much all we have to keep us coming to the games these days. Saying we are at best the third most talented team is all speculative. You can't assess the talent of an Xavier Avery versus the likes of BJ Upton, simply because XA is fresh to the league and has no experience. In terms of skill based upon experience? 3rd at best I agree. But overall skill, who knows until we get to September. If they are still on top, you'd be hard pressed to convince me they are not the most talented team in the division and got there on nothing but luck.

I'm enjoying this run, but to call them the beast of the AL East is asinine. I don't care if they win the division this year, they are at best the 3rd most talented team in that division. For what it's worth though, go O's.

The O's will then have 20 days to make a decision on whether or not they will move B Rob up the ranks or put him back on the DL.

I'm truly hoping things go well with this Bowie stint and we see Roberts come up soon. I still think Andino to third, B Rob in at second, put Reynold on the trading block for ANYTHING and keep Betemit as your utility infielder.

Resurgence of Brian Roberts and Britton on his way back up which will end up moving Hunter either into the pen or back down... this team continues to get scarier as the year progresses. Let's not forget Reimold still hanging around the DL, and hopefully he can return at some point. His bat was on fire prior to his back issue.

O's are becoming the Beast of the AL East.

Not three in a row, but nobody has done that. The other three who have hit at least 50 doubles at least three times, Stan Musial, Tris Speaker (5), and Paul Waner, are indeed Hall of Famers.

Todd Helton and Albert Pujols each have two 50 double seasons, but neither has done it in quite a few years.

This would make me smile, but please let's go slow with this for Brian. Let's minimize set backs as much as possible.

this guy once had 3 straight 50 double seasons not long ago, only a handful of players can say that, and most if not all were hall of famers.

Best of luck Brian!
