Innocent until proven guilty really only applies if you’re on jury. In the court of public opinion, you’re free to believe what you want. If these guys are innocent, hopefully their lawyers can prove that, if not, hopefully they will finally get the time to read War and Peace…several hundred times.

…but the sheer mindless evil of this crime is chilling. To essentially destroy the life Mr. Stow made for himself, AND the lives of his family in the process, for nothing more than wearing an opposing team’s jersey…

…I just can’t get my head around it.

When I read the LA Times coverage of this….well the fools were armed to the teeth with assault weapons and Sanchez’s girlfriend implicated them both, also they sound like two wannabe gangsters….therefore, things are pointing well in the direction of their guilt. But ptfu is correct and that’s the best tact at this point. LA juries have favored thugs in the past, so I would hesitate to put all my faith in the system, however.

Everyone is innocent until proven guilty, including these guys. You might be grateful for this if it was you who was charged with a crime.

Remember the first guy fingered for the beating? Charges were dropped, police eventually said he was innocent, but his life became hellish anyway with the subsequent harassment. Turns out the dude had nothing to do with any of this.

Let’s not rush to judgment. Clearly someone did something horribly wrong but it has not yet been absolutely determined that these were the guys.

They’ll have their day in court, and only the jury can decide if they’re guilty. If so, by all means throw the book at ‘em. Long way to go before that though.

These two scumbag felons should get life in prison or the death penalty, they basically took Mr. Stows life from him. The old rule of an eye for an eye should apply to these two ass wipes.
