I liked the guy when he was on the Yankees, but Jesus, the Nationals should never activate Chien Ming Wang- he should just be de-activated from the DL.

Yep-and it comes at a really god time since injuries have somewhat depleted the Nats’ bullpen. Wang will be in the rotation at some point this year. When Strasburg gets shut down in September, they will need both him and Detwiler starting.

Detwiler’s last couple of starts haven’t been good. If that trend doesn’t reverse (hopefully, it will), Wang could be back in the rotation in a few weeks.

In the meantime, pitching depth is a good thing. More pitching depth is a better thing.
