Ryan Braun back in Brewers lineup after groin injury

UPDATE: Good news for the Brewers, as Braun feels healthy enough to be back in the lineup tonight.

Ryan Braun had his fourth straight multi-hit game last night, going 2-for-5 with a homer in an extra-inning loss to the Giants, but exited in the 10th inning with a groin injury.

Asked afterward about his status, Braun wasn’t sure if he’d have to miss any starts and replied: “We’ll see how it feels tomorrow.”

Braub also told Jordan Schelling of that this groin injury is similar to one he dealt with during spring training, except “it’s not as bad as it was then, so it’s not too serious.” He also missed one start earlier this month with a sore Achilles’ tendon, but has played 40 of a possible 42 games while hitting .333 with 12 homers and a 1.049 OPS that tops his MVP-winning .994 mark from last season.

Not bad for a guy who at one point was banned from playing the first 50 games.

So ya, Braun is playing tough and looking all MVP-ish again.

Record/Never seen before levels of testosterone in Braun sounded nuts, and obviously is and was nuts.
Whatever was in that sample, that Braun wanted DNA tested was a sham.
The guys speed was measured for years by the Brewers and the results remained the same year after year, just like his production.

    Record levels
Highest ever found in a sample
Obviously not Ryan Braun’s actual sample

Too bad he plays for the Brewers he’s a joy to watch

Are you trying to write a Haiku?
Too bad he plays for Brewers? What is that supposed to mean? Who the heck are you? They only won the NL Central last year and could win it again.
The testing thing is dead. Let it be dead. He was taking herpes medication which is pretty embarassing. If any of you boobs got the real facts instead of lapping up media-hyped sensationalism, you would be talking about his play on the field and not other B.S.!

      • mybrunoblog - May 22, 2012 at 12:53 PM

Wait. Braun was taking herpes medication? Why didn’t he consult with renowned herpes expert Ron Mexico about dosage levels and the pitfalls of failing PED tests?

The Braun apologists probably think OJ was innocent too. “well ya know, he wasn’t convicted”…….

      • koufaxmitzvah - May 22, 2012 at 1:34 PM

Aye, Bruno. You Braun Bashers are all about living in the past. But if you want to talk about OJ… sure he did it. The blood on the glove had his DNA. And blood makes leather shrink. Anyway, why couldn’t somebody use a smaller glove on his hand in order to trip the jury up? Not to mention the prosecution really forked it up. Oh, and the LA Riots of 1992 didn’t make things any easier for anyone involved.

But that’s some kick-ass conflation you’ve got going on. Still trying to make your argument relevant in a world that, y’know, actually has rules that folks must follow.

Now I get to play this game. I bet all Braun Bashers believe that Obama was born in Kenya.

Ya too bad he plays for the Brewers
        I don’t like your team

        Clear enough for ya?
Shocking to know people are not fans of the Brewers but like Braun?

Well, I AM trying to write a Haiku…

        The Hebrew Hammer
        Hey, maybe he’ll take steroids
        or maybe he won’t…

(well, Haiku is not not my strong suit, and sorry for the repost…)

hey koufax, I don’t bash Braun, nor do I think he was born in Kenya, but I don’t get a tingle down my leg for him like some of you either.

    Body’s already breaking down….test him

  3. mybrunoblog - May 22, 2012 at 12:27 PM

Braun is stained. Sorry the PED issue is something he’ll face for the rest of his career. Fair or unfair it isn’t going away.

    riverace19 Nice post!!!
If Braun wins another MVP (maybe this year) under all the scrutiny he is under, then just leave it alone. Be done with it. If he played for whatever team you are a fan of you would not be calling him a cheater, or saying any of the stupid former owner is the commish now crap…
He is just that good… And lets face it, he is not a player for your team so you want everyone else to hate on him too….

A little HGH can help you through your issues. OK, he never tested positive for HGH. But baseball is not allowed to take blood and test for it, because the players do not like needles taking blood out of the. Now if they use needles to give a little extra push, that is OK.

Living with Herpes is really hard, especially when you are a single. According to a report from the largest Herpes singles dating site, 98% of its members who used to be on a general dating site to find the love and support were rejected by others. That could be the reason that why is so popular and now has more than 650,000 members.
