Too bad he won’t be around for inter league away games. With all the Red Bird depth, and emerging young corner infielders and outfielders, he most likely will be playing somewhere else in 2013 ,(as a DH in Houston?) but it sure would be a welcome sight to have him return in the dog days of August to give the kids some welcome relief and bring his veteran leadership for another World Series run. He would fit in nicely as a DH in the American League park.

Here is to hoping he responds well to surgery, treatment, and the Docs discover the main issue is his meniscus.

And as always, I still like Lance a Lot.
