Production at the big club level has been non-existent, as you point out. That .639 OPS is lower than such luminaries as Freddy Galvis, Robert Andino, etc.. Meaning the A’s DH’s are hitting less than middle infielders. A .700+ OPS comprised of a decent OBP and any measurable SLG would be a big step up at DH for the A’s.
