It never ceases to amaze me how uptight people are about nudity. Americans are the only ones who care. No one else in the world does (well, maybe the British, but not nearly as much as we do). That is why people continue to streak. It gets a rise out of people, which is always fun. They know they’ll get their 15 minutes of fame because of the rise they get out of people and by extension, the media. If people (and the media) didn’t act all shocked and appalled, there would be no point in doing it, which to an extent, proves your point but I don’t think the media pointing out the legal ramifications would have any effect what-so-ever. I can’t remember a streaker ever being sober. It’s always someone who’s obliterated. And when people are drunk, they don’t give a flying f$*% about legal ramifications, known or unknown. Not to mention the fact that some people are just attention whores, and therefore don’t care if the attention they’re receiving is good attention or bad attention. Hence the propensity, when aided by copious quantities of alcohol, to streak or do something else equally inane.

Somewhere north of 5M fans a year go to MLB games. We have, what, 1 or 2 streakers a year. That’s 5M minus one people who know full well the ramifications of streaking and don’t do it, mainly because it involves being naked in front of 1,000s of people. Isn’t that literally the most common nightmare? Anyway, something tells me sanctimonious editorials aren’t going to be the thing that stops that outlier.

That happened before at a concert where i was making a few extra dollars. I did nothing, apparently though it was a situation that happens a lot as the regular security crew had a poncho they rolled the guy in and took him away.

I assume the thumbs down came from a Cardinals fan… Lighten up, Francis! The Cards have a great team and the battle for the NL Central is going to be intense and it’s going to be fun. Let’s be honest with ourselves here. Neither team is just going to run away with the division because both teams have their flaws. Anyone on either side that doesn’t think either of these teams have issues is kidding themselves.
