Roy is 35 years old he will be on the DL alot more often from now on. Lee will also that is why they need to sign Cle Hamels 28 needs long term deal.trade one of the other two for power hitting third ball men.

A) I don’t understand why I would talk to you about Matt Holliday since he’s on the Cardinals…

B) Every team deals with injuries, every year. Sometimes it’s your ace. If you have a good team, injuries are often survivable.

C) Your comment about “it’s someone elses turn” shows about as much maturity as a little girl demanding that her father breaks her sisters toy, because hers got broken and it’s not fair.

That is definitely a lot for this year, but it’ll be hard to equal what the Mets have had to deal with even before (I think) the Nationals existed. In the past few seasons, Wright, Reyes, Santana, Murphy, Bay, Davis (last year), so many injuries that (I can’t even remember) have kept them out of contention. Mets’ key injuries are the norm, I am numb to them now.

I wish real life was like a video game where injuries could be set to “off”, so each team can play up to it’s full potential. Unfortunately, this is not the case, which is why I say everyone should have their turn.

Please, one year of injuries does not equal what the Mets have had to endure for about the last 5 years. They didn’t have their ace (Santana), for the last year 1/2. When Holliday misses that much time, then come talk to me.

You want NL East injuries, consider this: Werth, Ramos and one of his backup catchers, LaRoche, Zimmerman, and Storen. They all missed a substantial amount of games but hey, when you’re in first place, no need to make excuses.

Can’t say I feel bad for Philly. I recall their fans taunting Werth with his severe injury. And given the aging lineup, I can’t imagine it’s going to improve much.

Sorry, not wishing injury on any player, but I have no sympathy for any fans (especially) Philly fans when it comes to injuries. The Mets have probably suffered more key injuries than any other MLB team in recent memory, it’s someone else’s turn.

Hopefully he may just need to skip a start or two. If it’s anything serious I just don’t know how the Phillies survive. You already know Worley has to try and gut it out this season with his bone chips and Blanton is unfortunately starting to pitch like Blanton.
