Make that 3 games out. A week ago the Braves were in first and now they’re in 4th and only a game ahead of the Phillies. It’s anybody’s division at this point.

Yeah, “stick a fork in them.” If the Phillies had an actual fork stuck in them every time somebody said that, Cholly’d be sending nine metallic porcupines out onto the field every night. Yet somehow they managed to win 5 out of 7 against the Cards and Mets.

As a Mets fan I hate the Phillies, but it’s tough to hate Howard, I hope he comes back strong this year, meaning for him.

That said, the Mets won’t win this year anyway and the Phils are saddled with a bunch of bad contracts..

there is no hurry Ryan, you might as well take the season off cause by the time july rolls around the phils will be taking in water like the titanic and cliff lee stil won’t have a win, LOL

If he’s not back by the beginning of August & Philly isn’t close to contending, then they may as well have him sit the whole year out in order to give him and them the best possible chance of maximizing the next 4(!) years
