Getty Images Troy Tulowitzki left last night’s game against the Astros after suffering a strained left groin in the sixth inning. He apparently did it while running to first on a ground ball. The lesson here, kids: never run out ground balls. It’s totally bad for you.

That’s too bad. This probably goes back to when he got hit by a foul ball in the dugout; trying not to put too much pressure on his leg he ended up straining his groin.

The Rockies recalled Carlos Torres a day after optioning him. Somebody has to go on the DL.

I like this blog but does every news story have to come with some lame campy joke. Just pick your spots a bit, it gets tiresome reading one liners with every meaningful paragraph.
