Two years ago, I planned a Memorial Day weekend trip to Miami with my daughters. Thought we’d see the Phils play the Marlins on Saturday, do some mother-daughter bonding, etc. Daughter the elder decided her other weekend offers were better, so we bagged the trip–and missed Halladay’s perfect game. We may forgive, but forget? No way.
