Bill Hall outrighted to Triple-A

Last week when the Orioles designated Bill Hall for assignment, I suggested that it may be the end of the road for him. Didn’t really occur to me that he’d both clear waivers and accept an assignment to the minors, but …

Hard to see his path back to the bigs at this point, but there he goes.

    He’s 32 and playing professional baseball. I don’t fault the guy for sticking around if he still enjoys the game.

    Find a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.

    Who know maybe when his playing days are done he will try coaching a little bit.

    I agree. It was hard watching Ricky Henderson play in the independent leagues, but at the same time, if a HoF’er loves playing the game that much that he’s willing to do it, then all the power to them. Same for Bill Hall.

    Maybe the Dodgers or Twins will pick him up so he and Hamels can hash out their problems.
