The post game presser was much less optimistic than the above tweet by Derrick Goold in regards to Garcia’s health.

Both Matheny and Garcia think there’s something up still/again physically, not alot of optimism from either.

I presume you’re talking about Shelby Miller.

Not near ready, got shelled (again) today in Memphis – the HR ball is killing him.

Some believe AA Trevor Rosenthal has surpassed Miller in the system – throws harder, better command and better focus. The jury’s still out really, he’s (Miller) only 21.

Either way, the Cards are in need of help in both the rotation and the pen – I fully expect a minor deal/dumpster dive sooner than later.
