If you manage to spend 10 years in law and another 21 as an executive in MLB and don’t at least have the option of a secure retirement, something is wrong. It’s not like he’s a recent Law grad so desperate to work that he needs to apply to that Boston firm hiring full-time associates at $10,000 per year.

I assume he was paid at least the 2m per Torre was paid. I’d say the man probably won’t be putting out any resumes to law firms. Applications to country clubs more likely.
