Jun 6, 2012, 2:30 PM EDT

This is the best. From Brewers’ closer John Axford:

I hope he tapped him on the shoulder and asked for his jersey back after he tweeted that. Or asked “Axford” for his autograph.

Haha, either of those options would have been great. That would have made that guy’s day – or week.

i don’t know if I hope that guy sees the tweet (or this post) or not — he’s either going to be really excited that he was right in front of Axford, or really really sad he didn’t turn around.

Thats the Grand Ave. mall… I think

    • WhenMattStairsIsKing - Jun 6, 2012 at 3:42 PM

I don’t think so – Gurnee Mills is one level. They look like they’re upstairs.

      Either way, awesome.

I think that’s one reason why he said it was the Grand Ave Mall and not Gurnee Mills. Not to mention I don’t know that ballplayers would drive all the way down to Gurnee, Il on a game day to shop when there are perfectly good malls in the Milwaukee area.

        I realized its southridge

    • umrguy42 - Jun 6, 2012 at 4:22 PM

Unless it’s gotten a whole lot nice in the last couple years, all I can say is, I don’t think it’s the Southridge Mall :p (Used to live in Oak Creek, Southridge was my “main” mall of choice there).

      And probably not Bayshore, either.

      • brewcrewfan54 - Jun 6, 2012 at 4:41 PM

Yeah Southridge was a pretty awesome mall when I was in high school 10-12 years ago bit its definitelt fallen off a great deal. It used to be worth the 25 minute srive for me now its not.

Its not Mayfair… Its either the Grand Ave, or Southridge. Bayshore is all outdoors now. The Grand Ave is what I thought it was, however The Grand is super empty though.

    Looks like Mayfair mall

    • nightman13 - Jun 6, 2012 at 4:59 PM

      It is Mayfair

  5. shaggytoodle - Jun 6, 2012 at 5:00 PM

    Is that considered a humblebrag?

  6. quiltedgerm - Jun 6, 2012 at 5:26 PM

Please keep arguing about which mall it is…. Seriously, you guys must be joking!

    • WhenMattStairsIsKing - Jun 6, 2012 at 6:12 PM

      MALLS ARE IMPORTANT.

Okay, I made myself laugh there.
