I’m not sure what is meant by the reference to a “30-day rehab window.” Manny is not on a minor league rehab assignment; he signed a minor league contract with the A’s and he’s not on their 40-man roster. He can stay in the minors all year, unless the club has agreed to release him at some point if he’s not in the bigs.
