Dirtharry’s got to be a fan of some other AL East team. Otherwise he’d know the Jays don’t spend money until they know they’re a contender. Now that they’re showing signs they’re not going to step backwards. So I’m sure they’re on the verge of filling some holes with well spent money.

This guy makes too much for the bluejays so this will never happen, if its some washed up 41 year old player or some kid with little upside who makes nothing then it might happen. case closed

AA’s policy is to never confirm and to never deny trade rumors, thus rumor mongers such as Heyman feel free to use Toronto’s name in trade speculation. AA has made several trades, but the only one that was no surprise was the trade of Halladay. He does not operate in public. On slow news days, Hardball Talk will print the rumors, but there should also be a reality check attached.

Saw that all winter and like the last two years. It would be strange if you don’t hear Toronto mentioned in a trade these days.

Toronto’s name is usually thrown out there by baseball rumor mongers. Other than Halladay, I have yet to remember them getting any Blue Jay trade right.
