Esmil Rogers showed flashes of competency here and there but overall was atrocious, for so long and the Rockies believed one day Rogers would eat a couple bowls of Lucky Charms and all would be right with the world.

Rogers likely will never succeed? Why? He’s so easily hittable and his K/BB rate has never impressed.

Pitching is a skill, not a feat of strength.
