I think because being a switch hitter has nothing to do w stealing bases.

He’s also the first Puerto Rican to do it, which is neat, but has no direct relevance to the accomplishment. I do get that 300 HRs as a switch hitter is impressive tho.

Why? He’s got 94 home runs in the Majors batting right-handed. That’s 94 more than you or I. He’s batting 10 points higher from the right side of the plate, his OBP is identical from both sides, and he’s actually slugging 38 points better from the right side than from the left, despite fewer home runs.
