The Jays did it a bit different. They had about 15 or 16 fathers of their players at the game. Some of the dads including Tony Rasmus were interviewed on TV. Rasmus Senior basically said that Colby and TLR just did not get along. He applauded the trade as it gave Colby a fresh start and the pitchers the Cardinals received helped them win the World Series. He did not come across as being highly critical of TLR, rather he came across as a dad who tried to help his son.

Glad to see Colby is starting to play well PC! As for his Father…he must have took his med’s.
That’s the only explanation I can come up with for him not coming across as a complete and total horse’s ass.

You can’t tell it from that photo, but their daughters were there, too. The Cards’ official Facebook page has an album of adorable pictures that include Matt Holliday with his daughter on his lap, and a grinning Lance Lynn with his wife and their new baby girl.

    Happy Father’s Day!

Wow his dad seems like a real prick. Maybe his attitude rubbed off on his son.
