Sounds like the same thing that happened to that LA reporter at the Emmys a few years ago. She also started babbling on the air and it was feared she’d had a stroke, but it was in fact a migraine-related “transient ischemic” episode. She ended up being ok and hopefully Barnett is too.

It’s funny to hear, but actually a really scary deal–it’s called aphasia, and is often a symptom of seizures and/or strokes that affect the area of the brain which controls speech and vocabulary, I hope he’s OK.

Hawk Harrelson has no excuse, however.

Sounds like a CT Scan is in order here. I’ve suffered from migraines my entire life and nothing like that has never happened to me before. Hopefully, he’s ok.

P.S. For those flipping by, did anyone else think Keith Hernandez sounded drunk last night? He was beyond his usual garden-variety brutal and could barely speak. Started before the game when he kept referring to Adam Jones as “Alan” (until someone obviously corrected him) and then he struggled to complete his thoughts throughout the game.
