that should be enough time to get to his big league level of 3 strikeouts per game and for dusty to put him right back out in center field. I don't suppose it is any coincidence the reds started a 6 game win streak when he went out is there? guys should not lose their jobs because of injury even if the team plays better without them, case in point Scott Rolen. look at the reds record before he went down and after they started playing frazier at third. now look what happened after he was put back in after he returned, reds get swept by tribe and frazier does not get a hit playing the dh and left field. and for those who keep saying I am picking on dusty here is another example of his sit the hot bat to get the cold ones luke warm theory. ludwick who I feel is way overpaid for what he has produced had just started getting hot when he started playing everyday and was 8 for his last 20 when dusty decided to sit him yesterday to bat the .122 left handed bat of willie harris at dh. harris went 0-3 shockingly and the reds got hammered. defend that at your own risk.
