Bill Hall (@BillHall_III) June 22, 2012Hernandez had a 4.94 ERA in 18 relief appearances for the Braves before being designated for assignment a week ago. The Brewers need some rotation depth with Chris Narveson out for the season and Shaun Marcum nursing a sore elbow. Hernandez isn’t much, but he can soak up some innings if needed.
Update: Livan’s signing has been confirmed, but the plan is for him to pitch out of the bullpen initially. Michael Fiers will remain in the rotation.
