Jiffy Extra Crunchy please and Smuckers strawberry preserves. Is there any other jelly than strawberry? Creamy peanut butter is for those less than manly, seriously. This matters more than pie or cake.

In Asia, they look at you funny when you tell them that peanut butter and jelly go together. You will see them wolf down one or the other, but together is insane?????

And 'twain the cultures shall never meet.

I'm picturing store-brand peanut butter, Welch's jelly, and Pepperidge Farm bread. Which is fine. Next to meat, bread is the sandwich ingredient whose quality is most important - followed by cheese.

How are JJ's injuries still lingering? Last outing - seven innings of one run ball with seven Ks. One rough outing before that, and about five straight prior to that where he was really cutting the grass short. He's fine. Bell has been lights out after his rough start. He was unhittable most of May and has been pitching well in June on the very rare occasions the Feesh took a lead into the ninth. Buehrle has with only one or two exceptions pitched very well and would be something like 9-5 if he'd gotten any kind of run or fielding support. Reyes started off slowly, had a terrific May and has only tailed off, like the rest of the team, over the past two weeks.None of those guys are the problem. The problem has been a lack of hitting by the rest of the team, especially by the 5-6-7-8 hitters, the injury to Bonifacio, and the terrible performance by the rest of the boolpen not counting Bell. It helps to know what a team is really doing or not doing before offering such a lame analysis.

Really? Besides Reyes, Bell and Buehrle are hardly game changers. Not to mention JJ coming off a season of big injuries that are obviously still lingering. They spent a lot of money and not much of anything, they're right where they should be.
