I’m glad to see Moyer getting another chance. I think it would be cool to see this guy pitch until he is 50. Seeing something like this probably won’t happen again in my lifetime (I’m 31) and if it does I will probably be old and senile anyways.

This is great. I leave for Toronto tomorrow from Halifax and would love to see Moyer pitching to Pujols and Trout while Vizquel was playing SS. Was REALLY hoping Vlad would be in the OF to maximize the number of HOFers I could see at once.

If you can have an ERA under 4.00 in Vegas, you should be able to pitch in the AL. Jesse Chavez is the exception.

For now the Jays have guaranteed Moyer nothing. He will start in Vegas and will have to prove that he can still pitch. Scott Richmond has been called up. Richmond is a starter, but initially was penciled in for long relief. With Laffey starting today, Richmond might see some action right away.
