HBT Extra: Chapman, Greinke and Spinal Tap

Jun 28, 2012, 9:12 AM EDT

I can assure you, this is the first time I have ever told Tiffany to “smell the glove, baby.”  And almost certainly the last.

Greinke to the Jays? Who knows? The Brewers can’t have Lawrie back. The Jays do have the minor league depth to pull off a trade, but seem to be reluctant to trade for a probable rental.

She should be made to smell it…

    “smell the glove, baby.”
Something I’m sure Greg never said to Mandy.

I will start to root against my life long team if they do indeed trade Greinke… He and Braun are the only solid building blocks right now.

Greinke isn’t a building block if they don’t have him signed beyond this season. Also, just because he’s traded doesn’t mean that he couldn’t be resigned. I wouldn’t count on it, but it is a possibility.

Corey Hart would probably bring back more in a trade than Greinke.

I dont agree…. I think that someone will offer a lot for Greinke if they know that they could put them into a wild card or Division champ. I just hate to see 2 years in a row losing a top flight player.

No Francisco (FC) story today? Especially today.

Greinke to the Yankees? That could be a disaster waiting to happen. With his past problems of battling depression and dealing with his social anxiety disorder New York should be the last place he should go.
