Yup. Even a game between 4th and 5th place clubs 20 games under .500 can be worth watching. Sometimes.

Of course, it’s not that unusual for a 6′-2″ 220 lb. catcher to hit two homers, but what about Alexi Amarista, 5′-7″ 150 lbs hitting two in the same game? He swings a bat almost as big as he is, and apparently adopted Ted Williams’ swing.

you can’t judge that as long as meseraco only plays 2 games a week due to the reds having a pretty good veteran in hannigan. plus it was one game,let’s see how he does playing everyday the rest of the season.

Clap-clap. Another remarkable baseball feat. (2 cycles within 2 weeks). Now this kids first 2 hits are homers, from both sides. That’s why we watch these games. After 40+ years of watching, I still see stuff that is nothing short of marvelous.

Well, we’ll see. At this point it’s like judging draft picks… takes years to score it. I don’t think Mez will match Grandal for offense, but I’d rather have Mez behind the plate.
