Ignorant and bitter. The kid’s 19 years old and wants to get out of the east coast death corridor for some home-style western relaxation. I give him a lot of credit for being genuine about his feelings and the fact that being with family means so much.

Wow, sorry. Just wondering why there’s a post about a non-All Star’s tentative plans for the break. What is Aaron Hill doing? Or Jake Peavy?

I guess I refuse to give in to the media’s fascination with this guy. Yes, he’s a good player and will probably be a great player. But he’s not an All-Star. Not yet. There are more worthy NL outfielders than Harper….Holliday, Prado, Heyward, Bourn, Pence….

Really? Because his actual quote stated “If I don’t make the team”. He does all of that on a regular basis. Which is probably why he wants to go home and be himself for a little while. So, once again, IF he doesn’t make the team he’ll be happy taking a break.

FYI: Reading just the headline or the whole article make a big difference on how ignorant you sound while posting.
