That allowed the Nats hitters to just tee off on the heat since it wasn’t topping 94 on the stadium radar indicator. Looks like he needs to make the transition from thrower to pitcher or he’s going to be in big trouble.

The swing-and-miss stuff was still there, but by the 2nd inning he was absolutely drenched in sweat. It didn’t help that Crawford made an in the 1st, allowing the lead-off runner to get on base, and forcing Tim to get his pitch count over 20. Giants played sloppy today. Ugly way to start a road trip.
