I will come to the defense of Rodriguez today. In my opinion, if Brad Mills wasn't playing thumb-up-his-ass today, Rodriguez would not have been put in the position to even pitch today, and worse, maybe could've gave Jordan Lyles a chance to get a hard earned victory. But the Astros strike again...in the category named, "incompetence".

Astros clinging to a one run lead in the 8th innning (mind you the Astros have not gotten a base hit since the first inning) Brewers have the tying run on second base, one out and an open base at first. Who strolls up to the plate? National League MVP, Ryan Braun. On the mound is Brandon Lyon and one thinks that he will give him a free pass to get to the double-play threat on deck in Aramis Ramirez. Hell no. Lyon "goes after em" and hangs a slider as Braun drives it into left center field to tie the game and slowly shut the trap door on the Astros.

Maybe what rubbed this in my face the worse was the fact that Mills decided to walk Braun in the 10th inning while first base was open. Where were you two innings ago, you imbecile?

I refuse to hear any Brad Mills apologists.
