Well, they mentioned during the futures game yesterday that Singleton basically has a open door to Houston. Carlos Lee is gone so nobody to block him. While thats great and all, I dont think they want to make the same mistake they did with JR Towles when he was the top Astros prospect and rushed him. With nowhere to go but the cellar this year, might as well just let Brett Wallace take over at first for the remainder of the season and see where spring training takes Singleton next year.
