When they do something that results in a fine or suspension, MLB releases the info to the media as well. The umpires should have the same accountability. Everybody is begging for MLB to institute more instant replay to improve the accuracy of calls. How about you just negotiate a contract with your umpires that holds them accountable for all of their mistakes. That would improve the game more that instant replay ever could.

In one of his first years in the Majors, he ejected McGwire in the first inning in 1998 late in the HR Chase for a rather benign objection to a called strike. After the ejection, 75% of the Cardinal home crowd left since there was nothing left to hang around for back then for STL. Yes Sam, we all showed up to watch you and not McGwire!
