In retrospect, Cano should have wasted a pick on Butler. Because we all know he’s built the reputation around the league as long ball threat. He has 90 for his entire career. Looks like he’ll put up a career-high this year in HRs though.

Nobody was booing Cano because a hometown player should automatically be in the Derby.

Everyone was booing Cano because he outright said he’d ask a Royal to be in the Derby, then didn’t, then mumbled nonsense when asked why he didn’t.
