Nobody with a brain is claiming that Cano purposely misled the fans in KC. But he DID mislead them. So they let him know what they thought of it.

Hilariously and predictably, Yankee fans and some of the protective east coast media shills haven’t been able to handle it.

Why would Ron Washington, in a game that could potentially affect his team should they make it back to the series, play someone who doesn’t really deserve to be there?

As for “loyalty” and that being some exclusive hallmark of KC fans and mid-westerners, well we’ll just see what kind of reception Robbie gets the next time he steps into the batters box at Yankee Stadium for his first AB during next homestand following the All-Star break. Something tells me all the “degenerate” New Yorkers are gonna let him know just what we feel about our best player.

So enjoy your thrilling victory and how the entire nation saw KC fans booing a guy during an exhibition. You can tell your grandkids about it one day. It’s fine, they had their big moment after Cano clearly, and so rudely and purposefully disrespected the entire fanbase, organization, and apparently from the sounds of things, the entire mid-west! Well, they showed him, boy howdy.

But here’s another “deal”, Cano is one the best players in the game and shrugged off last nights booing barrage with class. NYY fans love our homegrown MVP caliber 2B and being booed on the road is just another night at the office for those guys. Robbie I’m sure could care less because he’s got bigger fish to fry the rest of the way. Go Yankees!!!

As someone who is an admitted smart ass…I always try to take things with a grain of salt.
One would think someone who likes making smart ass comments would also take things with a grain of salt and be a little less sensitive.
Please know I will make a note of your sensititives and make a concerted effort to refrain from responding to your future smart ass posts.

But anyway, I really would have loved to see what Billy Butler, with a career high of 21 HRs in a season, could have done in the HR derby…clearly way more deserving than the participants Cano picked. Lol.

Normal people do not root for Goliath unless he’s a member of the family, even when the opponent (say, Boston) is not exactly David.

Obviously the reason Royals fans are upset is because he said he would take a Royal, he didn’t. That alone, regardless of whether or not he chose his three guys after the all-star team was released or not, is enough for Royals fans to put a price on Cano’s head. By hitting zero home runs, it was like some type of compensation for him not picking Butler. It’s possible that fans got in his head, and if they did, then they got the revenge they sought.

The only reason that it seemed excessive is because he was up there 10 minutes or so hitting. In a normal game, if they boo his entire at bat, it may be only 2-3 minutes. Cano did not seem bothered by it, and shrugged it off when interviewed. Why is everyone else making a big deal about it? Personally, I thought it was assume!! It shows that the KC fans support their team and have some heart, even though their team has struggled for the last too many years.
