While some may not require the same rest, I doubt they could get by on 1/2 the rest while taking 2 turns in the rotation. Plus, Dickey throws hard for a knuckleballer, so he may fare worse than others on such a schedule.

The mets were already toying withe the idea of using dickey every fourth day, this will probably cinch the deal.

Does a knuckleballer need 4-5 days rest in between starts? I dint know, but if not, can a 4 man rotation work? Just trying to think outside the box

Alderson has no plans to bring up Harvey he knows that he’s not ready. If Harvey comes up now he’ll become Pelfrey 2.0 because thats what happened to Pelfrey he was brought up to the big club way to early and it screwed him up. Get better Gee your health is more important.

scary injury, sounds like the samething david cone went thru some years ago. Hope he is as sucessful as cone was getting past it
