There’s about 3.5 seconds between the ball going off the glove and and Hamilton getting by 2B. Seriously.

I thought Hamilton was supposed to be “SUPER DUPER Fast”? This sounds more like “just as fast as what we already have at the MLB level”.

Peter Bourjos timed an inside-the-park homer at 14.26 seconds back in April, and thought it was a fly out until he reached first base, THEN he accelerated. That was less than half a second slower than Hamilton, after jogging the first 90 feet.

You only see it briefly, but he is booking it a split second after he makes contact with the ball. Seems like so many players take that one second to watch and see if the ball might leave the yard before they realize they can probably leg out a double or triple and kick it in to gear.

Not an error on the right fielder but an error on the center fielder for kicking it to the warning track.

Doesn’t discount the fact that Hamilton can fly, just sayin.

That would be the fastest Inside the Parker ever. Seriously, he’s AT second base by the time the ball deflects off the CF’s glove. I don’t think anything from that point on mattered…..he was already gone. That’s nuts!
