Eh, I don’t know, he’s only ever been in 1 postseason in his career. I’d need to see more than that to make some broad sweeping claim about him.

Greinke is simply one of those talented players who isn’t mentally tough. Reluctant to play in a bigger market, and this “recharging the batteries’” business is coming at the worst time for his team. Greinke actually had basically an extra day of rest when he was ejected from a game in the first inning recently for spiking the ball.

At the end of the day I feel this is all going to be smoke and mirrors. If anything the Brewers are the team most likely to do nothing at the trade deadline.

Somebody is going to overpay massively for Greinke…and be sorry at the end of the season that they did so. This guy just isn’t a “money” pitcher. Now Cliff Lee, on the other hand…
