Tyson has been in the batting cage all winter for the 2 years before this one and I’ve gotten to know the young man fairly well,I’m positive the coke charges of a couple of years ago were garbage and I can really comment on the current issue because we really have no idea what it is.I can only say in my experience Tyson is a fine young man and has really been a fine mentor to the young men he has worked with the previous couple of winters in North Vancouver!

Indeed. My fear is that they will throw Pence out there and flank him with some combo of Nix, JMJ, and Brown. Talk about a horrid defensive OF.

Agreed. Very disappointing, it will be interesting to hear the reason why. He might not have been ready to replace Victorino next year, but now the phillies will have to re-evaluate their long-term CF situation because Victorino is surely out the door, especially if this Hamels deal comes to fruition.

This kid is frustrating to no end. Very gifted and talented but proceeds to get in his own way time and time again. One would think with the impending free agency of Victorino, that he would be doing everything in his power to show that he can be a possible replacement. Instead, this happens. With every passing day that Lee trade looks worse and worse. Not just because of the performance of those traded for but for RAJ needing another starter a few months later, necessitating the trade for Oswalt….which cost the rightful heir apparent in CF, Gose.
