See Giants beat writer Andrew Baggarly on Jeopardy

Jul 20, 2012, 5:55 PM EDT

Who is Andrew Baggarly? CSN Bay Area’s Giants beat writer, of course. And he’ll do his best to make all of us sportswriters proud when he’s appears on Jeopardy tonight. Well, I’m sure it was actually taped like three months ago, so in truth, he did his best to make us all proud then.

My Jeopardy tip: if the clue involves a French impressionist painter, go with Monet. It’s like a 50-50 shot.

As a certified Jeopardy nerd (currently swimming in the contestant pool) I’m way too excited for this.

Sorry. The answer is Manet. Eduoard Manet.

Danny: And I always confuse Monet and Manet. Now which one married his mistress?
    Tess: Monet.
Danny: Right, and then Manet had syphilis.
    Tess: They also painted occasionally.

      Well done, sir. Well done.

Fun fact: (ok, it’s not that fun) Jeopardy tapes a weeks worth of shows in one day with each returning contestant going back to the dressing room to change attire. Sneaky dogs.

Fucking, “Havanna” in Daily Double?? Seriously? They have fascists in Cuba?!?!

When’s the last time you’ve been behind a podium on “Jeopardy!,” with camera’s rolling and the game on the line in a Daily Double? You might confuse Franco fascists for Castro communists, too, under the same conditions.

So he isn’t making enough money sucking at the Giants teat/rooting for them in print? Hack.

Baggarly doesn’t write for a print outlet anymore. The rest of your comment is idiotic, too.
