You release Justin Ruggiano. Now he’s batting cleanup for the Marlins. You trade John Jaso, 4th in ROY voting 2 years ago, to the Mariners for a rapist mid reliever. Jaso has an .850 OPS this year as a catcher. Meanwhile, Theo trades a shitty mid reliever for Anthony Rizzo in the off season, but only after Friedman let the Reds make a move with the Padres that would have singlehandedly answered every problem this team has.

This better not be the end of Friedman’s dealing.
