Shocker: Snooki got booed at the Mets game last night

Jul 24, 2012, 10:03 AM EDT

Much to Evan Longoria’s chagrin — and the chagrin of anyone else with taste and a sense of human decency — that Snooki person made an appearance at the Mets game last night. And you’ll be shocked to hear this, but she got booed:

Shocker, I know.  In other news, as of this morning, if you do a Google search for “Snooki booed,” you get 222,000 results. Finally: some faith in humanity is restored.

This story is awesome, Im glad she got booed

    • Kevin S. - Jul 24, 2012 at 1:37 PM

At first glance, that looked like “I’m glad she got boned.”

Don’t let your thoughts run away with you, Kev. :-)

    Loving the Freddy Mercury pic.

  3. kkolchak - Jul 24, 2012 at 10:15 AM

Kudos to the Mets fans for booing her, but sadly she is laughing all the way to bank.

Bud Selig’s right … us fans don’t want instant replay, we want Snooki!

    … or maybe not.

    Lol

    Go go Freddy!!

  7. deathmonkey41 - Jul 24, 2012 at 10:30 AM

Glad to see Snooki get booed, but my faith in humanity will be fully restored when I don’t have to listen to that assclown Keith Olbermann anymore either.

    • paperlions - Jul 24, 2012 at 10:49 AM

Really, that’s all it’ll take? Considering the global state of humanity, greed, slavery, human trafficking, pollution, etc…..all it’ll take is not listening to Olbermann?

FWIW, I don’t ever have to listen to that ass clown already, or any of the other blowhards on TV or radio….people don’t force me to listen to them….so I don’t.

      • glaivenside - Jul 24, 2012 at 2:02 PM

At least you didn’t take that keith olbermann comment WAAAY to seriously or anything. That would’ve been bad. Phew.

    • deathmonkey41 - Jul 24, 2012 at 11:02 AM

I shouldn’t say that. The world would actually be a better place if we didn’t have to listen to Chris Berman either.

      • skids003 - Jul 24, 2012 at 12:35 PM

I’m with you deathmonkey. I have turned off Olbermann more than anyone on TV. He’s a complete jerk and idiot.

  8. mybrunoblog - Jul 24, 2012 at 10:52 AM

I bet a bunch of those people who booed Snooki are the same folks who sat and watched the Jersey Shore show. I mean, somebody watches that useless show.

    • deathmonkey41 - Jul 24, 2012 at 11:03 AM

Proud to say I’ve never watched a single minute. And I was born and raised in North Jersey.

      • voteforno6 - Jul 24, 2012 at 2:08 PM

I’ve never seen it either. And it really bothers me that I know who Snooki is.

    • Old Gator - Jul 24, 2012 at 3:44 PM

Television is bad for your brain.

This needs more thumbs up. And here’s a higher res version of the whole Live Aid set:

When I watched a Mercury documentary a year ago they talked about what a great ‘showman’ Freddy was. All true, of course. But, what they should have spent their time on was his voice. Given his range, power, endurance, and passion he is easily the finest vocalist of my lifetime. That he should be gone and the likes of that no-talent ass-clown Snooki (and the rest of her ilk) should be around . . . well there ARE greater travesties in society at large, but when it comes to celebrities I can think of no greater injustice.

      • cptnew1 - Jul 24, 2012 at 12:03 PM

Justin Bloober, Lady Glah Glah, and the other various…um, ‘artists” now days. THIS is how you put on a concert. 75,000 people in the palm of his hand. ( I know the story is about that other creature, but have to take any chance to extoll Freddie.)

      • senatorsguy - Jul 24, 2012 at 6:09 PM

Freddie (with an ie) was the greatest frontman I ever saw on stage. Simply a powerful and original personality. Those who attended the Live Aid concert talked on a documentary about the event about how Queen, who had recently seemed to fall out of favor with the media/critics for a few years, used this as their re-coming out party and simply blew the other acts away. If you have any interest in Queen at all – get their Wembley concert DVD. It is also simply awesome. Glad to see other Queen fans out there.

I’ve never watched a second of any reality show but I have seen enough of Snookie to know I would like to do things with her that would make a porn star blush. Mets fans are stupid.

    • mogogo1 - Jul 24, 2012 at 12:51 PM

Just hang tight for a little while longer. Her 15 minutes are nearly up… no way she’s smart enough to have saved any money… porn will be her next stop. Probably will do a film with octamom.

  11. nategearhart - Jul 24, 2012 at 1:47 PM

She holds a bat better than Jon Heyman does.

  12. painsyndicate - Jul 24, 2012 at 3:03 PM

Screech Dolbermann would get booed just as badly.

  13. blackdonnelly - Jul 24, 2012 at 7:06 PM

Meh – I can deal with Olbermann (my mute button gets a LOT of action lately) but Snooki is a no-talent hobag who got lucky with a TV show (can you say “Kardashians?”) One poster got it right – her 15 minutes are just about up.

And exactly WHO was the twisted human being that knocked her up? I’ll bet his self-esteem is lower than whale dung right about now……..

  14. mattjerr - Jul 24, 2012 at 10:50 PM

I’ve forgotten what this story was about. I’m totally sidetracked by that awesome Freddie pic. Its horrible he’s been gone 20 years.
