His fielding percentage at 3B this year is .830. Yeah, bad metric and small sample size, but that is just not major league.

Free Agent third base market is weak. After David Wright there is a major drop off. With A-Rod going down with a broken hand, Polanco to the DL there are quite a few teams who need Headley and the Padres know this. Expect teams to overpay for his services drastically.
