The key words here are team control in 2013 so no real pressure to trade Garza. The Cubs should focus on moving Dempster and be happy with that.

But due to FA looming for Greinke next season I guess a trade would make more sense involving a healthy Garza. So yeah, I’d say you’re right. Garza being hurt is going to shift some focus to other trade options like Greinke and Dempster.
