This guy really does have one of the more fun swings in baseball to watch. He puts so much into it. Swing kind of reminds me of Canseco or Bo Jackson from that aspect.

The Rangers and Angels better take the A’s serious, with their pitching and the sock in the offense, these guys are for real, and they’ll have to be dealt with coming down the stretch.

His greatest attribute seems to be on-the-fly adjustments. He’s adapted really quickly to what pitchers have been doing to get him out, and he’s taken his coaching not as criticism but as instruction. No sign of prima donna behaviour and every sign of a + work ethic, too. I wish he was on the Beaver Wrestlers: this kid in the same lineup with Bautista & E5? Well, that would be a wrecking crew.
