Gary Brown projects to be a leadoff type. Some gap power, little HR power, speed speed speed, but not a great on base guy, could maybe hit .260-280 ish. Heath Hembree is intriguing, he is a power closer, but hasn’t truly developed other pitches besides a 100mph fastball. Dan Runzler is a lefty that throws mid 90′s with a hard slider, so he can help out the Phillies bullpen now. We have really great catching prospects, Tommy Joseph, switch hitting with power glove improving and Andrew Susac, great glove contact hitter, power improving. Living in Philly I don’t know I see Pence and he is only good as a complimentary guy, but his coming in might preclude the Giants from offering Melky a long term deal. Pence makes too much for what he is as a player. Joe Panik might be the only guy that the Phillies might get that I would mind. Spunky heady 2b guy that has .275-.300 with 15-20 hr potential all over.

They have the rights to him for one more year at salary unknown and it’s probably more then the philies are willing to pay.
