I’m not certain the DFA’s got a hit after the 7th inning. What a showing by the bullpens tonight, especially the DFA’s. I can’t give the A’s pitching staff much credit though. Who could’t hold the likes of Brooks Conrad, BJ, Carlos, Desmond, Molina, Sam Fuld and Elliot Johnson scoreless? I watched Carlos Pena hit off the tee the other day. He whiffed at 11 in a row.

What a shitty offense you have put together Friedman. Let’s hope a decent player gets DFA’d by someone soon, because lord knows that is his only plan to strengthen the team.

Randy never pitched beyond the 9th as he was replaced with Byung-Hyun Kim at the start of the 10th.

The Dbacks took 5 pitchers to finish the next 2 innings and all they did was add 1K to the 20 Randy got in 9IP.

Sooo…while technically I guess it doesn’t count because the game went to extra innings, Johnson compiled all his Ks in what would normally be a standard game.
